We are on day 5 of the blizzard, its getting a little annoying. Frank was called in to work today only be asked to leave again after 1.5 hours. The post office is close and the only thing open is the northern store (no surprise there) and essential services like water and sewage trucks. The downside of a blizzard is the stores really dont have anything and we haven’t had eggs in the stores in Friday. And all the mails are backed up and I am getting a little antsy since I ordered a bunch of fabric from the US. The blizzard is suppose to end Wednesday night but we will see, today’s blizzard was suppose to be milder but its worst than yesterday..Frank took these pictures and northerners know when the windchill hits -50C and below, its nasty when it comes to exposed fingers clicking away. It’s brutal.

presumably asked to come in for work just to be asked to leave again, they are not walking into nothing, its a whole side of town that is not visible.
the high school

on the right hand side of this person is the high school which is not visible till Frank came to about 20 meteres closer to the high school.

houses opposite of ours and i am only able to see them after Frank cleaned the windows only to have to clean it again tomorrow morning.

digging a door, i thought this was funny. We are lucky our house is way elevated from the ground, more like 15 steps above ground, houses and buildings closer to the ground isnt too lucky, doors being buried is a very normal sight during and after a blizzard.
Ben’s new look and because I was so bored!..lol

That blizzard is just crazy!
And poor Ben! He needs his hair- it is cold outside!!
