When Frank got the job here in Arviat, it was the first time we ever heard of this community, we knew Rankin Inlet, Iqaluit and Pond Inlet but never heard of Arviat. So it was quite challenging since we cannot find any information on the web about this community. Then I got an idea, why not search for arviat blogs just in case anyone wrote a blog and lives up here. That is how we met our friends, Hilary and Greg..lol. Frank has a blog, on and off, he left it for a year, and now resurrecting it. I am not sure how long he will keep the pictures online since he still has to watermark them so no one would use them. But for the time being, he has put a very good post about places/buildings here in Arviat. It will sure help anyone who will be coming to this community. Frank’s blog
