Outnumbered

I am outnumbered when Frank is not around, going from one kid to 2 kids is CHALLENGING and honestly really testing my patience. I dont sit down to eat anymore and for most part I eat my meals or rather gulp my meals down fast. I am surprised I dont have a tummy ache yet. I tend to make meals at night after the kids gone to sleep and portion them out so I dont have to cook the next day and just pop them in the microwave to be reheated. I dont eat at scheduled time.

Before Frank goes to work, I will normally shower and use the bathroom. When Ben is sleeping, I am teaching and entertaining Avarayna and when Avarayna is sleeping, for most part Ben is also sleeping which is why sometimes i get to do my sewing but if he is not sleeping, then its off to entertaining him. I do have to plan out their meals accordingly, overall its all about multitasking. I found out too that as long as its winter, I can scrap the plan of going out for walks with them on my own since last weekend we went for a walk and 2 sled dogs were loose. One knows that pet dogs are different from sled dogs. Sled dogs are more inquisitive and can attack and these 2 dogs followed us from behind, I was scared to death. Then they followed us to our house and when they start running towards us, that is when Frank told me to get a stick that was a big as a baseball bat. No, we didnt hit the dogs but we just bang the stick on the steps or swing it around to steer them off and they actually were not scared till Frank made this loud bang on the steps. The dogs did end up on our steps later that day so i have to be extra careful when I open the door.

  1. I didn’t know sled dogs can be vicious. Luckily Frank was around. I think you’ll need to bring a baseball bat with you during your walks.

So far I’ve been lucky at the eating on schedule ‘cos my folks are still around. But come 3/18…I will not be that lucky…they are leaving for KL that day. I really salute you for handling 2 babies on your own. I’m so relieved we get to send Belle off to the daycare from M-F. :P
